Welcome to Bucks Arts Partnership
Bucks Arts Partnership was established in 2006 the partners are: Arts Council South East, Aylesbury Vale District Council, Bucks County Council (Education, Economic Development, Culture), Chiltern District Council, South Bucks District Council, Thames Valley Partnership and Wycombe District Council.
The Partners aims are to:

Raise the profile of creative industries in Buckinghamshire

Increase funding opportunites

Achieve a more integrated approach to creative development

Achieve sustainability for the work of the partnership
In March 2006 a Co-ordinator was appointed for an initial twelve months, now extended to twenty four months, to develop the work of the partnership. There are three priority areas of work identified by the partners for 2006-2008:

To undertake a county wide creative industries audit and explore ways of delivering proposed recommendations through a revised mission and terms of reference.

To develop an ‘Adopt an artist Scheme’, pairing local artists with businesses, and encouraging the economic well being of both, and devise of way of sustaining this work in 2008/09. Aiming for 16 partnerships by April 2008.

Youth project work in liaison with the police and schools

Explore project opportunities linked to the Olympics
